Area Solutions is an excavation, grading, and land construction company started by Owen Skelly. In 2024 Area Solutions officially merged with Renfroe Land Construction, giving us the ability to serve more of our middle Georgia community.
We have a passion for protecting the land to the best of our ability, while also giving you quality, detailed, and safe work at a competitive price.
We are a state licensed septic installation company, licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina.
We are certified through the Georgia soil and water conservation commission. We are fully insured.
Like most boys, Owen grew with a love for the outdoors and fascination with equipment and construction. He began helping with projects, big and small, for friends and family around 18 years ago. He took the opportunity to work for Steve Renfroe (Renfroe Land Construction) for 10 years, learning the ins and outs of the excavation business, with the goal of running his own company one day. In 2022 he married the love of his life, Bailey, who now helps with the advertising and office work for the company.
In 2024 Owen had the opportunity to buy out Renfroe Land construction, merging it into Area Solutions. Steve, however, still is involved in the company, sharing his expertise and coming out on the job site when he can.
Owen is not ALL work, despite a busy schedule, and he enjoys running equipment for home projects, building tools to make jobs more efficient, spending time with family, attending and serving, alongside his wife, at their local church, and jet skiing. It is their desire to serve the community and give quality work to those with whom they come in contact.
Steve Renfroe
Chase Raley
Founder of Renfroe Land Construction, and second generation grading contractor. Passionate about equipment from a young age, Renfroe began his company at 21 years old and worked hard to build up fro there. 40 years later, having operated a successful grading business for a long time, he decided to semi retire and sell to Area Solutions.
Still having a love for the land, he can't stay away from the job sites 100%, and still comes out from time to time.
A true lover of nature, he spends his free time hunting, fishing, rock crawling, and fixing equipment.
The newest member of the team, he loves to hunt, fish, and spend time on the river, but his favorite hobby is working. He is up for any project and brings a hard work ethic and positive attitude to every job site.
